Big Banks - Stop With the Credit Card Offers!

I do not want any more credit cards. Nor do I want the half a dozen credit card offers a month via mail. When will this end?!!
- It comprimises my securing (by including too much info about me);
- Its an environmental nightmare (tons of wasted paper);
- AND It's annoying
Please support this post and let the big banks know that the community has had enough.
Its time for them to market their business in a way that respects us and is engaging and useful. Not the largest SPAM campaign in history.

I haven't had a Royal Bank account in years, yet I still get these offers on a regular basis. Very annoying.
Adding yourself to the opt-out lists of the major credit bureaus and any banks you have an account with can help with this immensely. See http://www.junkbusters.com/self.html#credit for pointers.
I agree with Gerwitz. I've opt-ed out whenever possible. Another tactic -- get an unlisted phone number. Many CC companies pull lists from the telephone companies. No number, no listing, no address.
Damn straight, if I wan t your damn credit card, I'll go to your damn website and apply for it myself. Also, once I have your credit card, and you are taking me to the cleaners on interest charges, don't call me and ask me to upgrade or buy insurance. Just be happy that you are already making money off of me, and shut up!
