Grilled Again by Sears

I have a charcoal grill, 12 years old, for which I needed 4 parts in order to squeeze out a few more years. They were ordered through searspartsdirect.com. I pulled up the model # and located the parts I needed. Some parts were no longer available, but the ones I needed, allegedly were. The part numbers were checked against my owners manual parts breakdown and everything matched. Parts ordered-- parts received (four different shipments). The cooking grate was wrong size (5" too short). Called customer service and they sent a replacement. Totally the wrong part again. Called cust. svc. They said that it was a direct replacement part (I ordered the same part several years ago and it was spot on). Was told to call a "trained grill technician" to make a modification to the grill to make a 25" grate fit into a 30" hole. I'm sending everything back, but I have to pay postage just like I paid for them to ship the wrong part to me. Sears wants my satisfaction to be complete.......B.S.!! The only thing worth half a damn is their handtools and they are working feverishly to screw us on that.
